About Me
Hi, I'm Rozlyn
My journey in the industry began in 2017, following the birth of my third son, when a passion for nails and beauty became something more meaningful, a path I felt deeply connected to.
From the very beginning, I was committed to growth. I continuously invested in advanced training, refining my skills and expanding my knowledge, and supporting my favourite brand, INK London, at industry events. Nails have always been my first love, but for me, it has never been just about the finish, it is about the foundation.
I started my business from a small garden summerhouse, known then as Summerhouse Salon. In 2019, I opened my first high street salon on Catherine Street, the beginning of Shape Salon. Over the next five years, the business grew, evolving into my dream space on Bath Street.
But life has a way of reshaping what truly matters.
After losing my mum, my perspective changed. Success became less about growth, and more about balance, peace, and being present for my family, my clients, and the work I truly love.
Shape Edit was born from that shift.
A return to where it all began, but with years of experience, clarity, and intention behind it. Because life is not linear, it evolves, and with it, so do we. Shape Edit represents that evolution, a more refined, considered way of working, focused on quality, care, and connection.
Alongside my treatments, education has become a natural extension of my work. I am deeply passionate about teaching, not just the artistry, but the understanding behind it. The science, the structure, the why behind every step. Because true professionals do not just create beautiful nails, they understand how to protect, maintain, and support nail health first. That foundation is everything.
Today, I work from my garden studio, creating a calm and personal space for every client. You will often be welcomed not just by me, but by my world, my husband Tom, my biggest supporter, my three amazing sons, my wonderful friends who keep life full, and my little four-legged companion, my miniature Shih Tzu.
Outside of the studio, I love the simple things, time with friends, a good gin, skiing, travelling to Italy, and getting completely lost in a book, usually finishing it far quicker than I probably should.
Shape Edit is more than a business.
It is a reflection of my journey, my standards, and the life I have chosen to build.
And if I’m not in the studio, I’m probably reading, planning my next trip to Italy, or pouring a gin.
